What Happens in Vegas

I am Dee Jay BC from Las Vegas, NV. You can catch me live on Ruff Ryders Radio, Tuesdays from 6-7pm EST. I have over 20 years of DJing experience.

I am truly inspired by the positive vibes of music. Music is one of the things that unites people of all races. Being a DJ and having success at it used to mean the world to me. Now I'm older and get more joy out of sharing my struggles and triumphs with other so they may see success. Being a RR DJ has been amazing. Becoming a part of such a large family has truly been a one of a kind experience.

1. Las Vegas, NV. Originally from Chicago, IL.
2. Tuesdays from 6-7pm EST
3. At the moment, I’m not affiliated with a RR chapter. Although, that will change as soon as I get another motorcycle. I’ve been DJing for 20 years.
4. Music runs in my family. There are a lot of musicians and singers on my mother and father’s side. Besides being a DJ, I also play the piano and sing.
5. I was born and raised in Chicago. I came to Las Vegas in 1999 to play football at UNLV. As a 20-year veteran in the music business, it’s been an amazing ride. I started a mobile DJ company in 2009, and a second in 2019. In my free time, I run a non-profit charity focused on homeless prevention. “I believe in dreams, because I’m living one. The best part of the dream is getting started.”
6. I am truly inspired by the positive vibes of music. Music is one of the things that unites people of all races.
7. Being a DJ and having success at it used to mean the world to me. Now I’m older and get more joy out of sharing my struggles and triumphs with other so they may see success.
8. Being a RR DJ has been amazing. Becoming a part of such a large family has truly been a one of a kind experience.
9. I don’t think I have a favorite DJ. I admire a lot of DJ’s across different genres. I think that’s ultimately why I became an open format DJ.
10. I want to continue to make people happy, and touch them through music. To continue to defy odds and exceed expectations of what people think.
11. Dorm party at UNLV in October of 1999.
12. Don’t limit yourself as a DJ. Expand your horizons and listen to as much and as many different types of music as you can, despite what format you play. The more you expand your knowledge, the more creative you become in the end.
13. I enjoy hip-hop music because of the hard bass and syncopation.
